Primary maths and English
Our Primary maths and English lessons are focused on steady, meaningful progress. Pupils regularly strengthen their core skills, move up learning groups, and achieve improved assessment outcomes. Just as importantly, they grow in confidence and develop a more positive relationship with learning.
GCSE English
Our GCSE English lessons are designed to make learning engaging, purposeful, and effective. We teach each component as a separate subject, tailoring lessons to each pupil’s strengths and areas for development. Lessons include interactive texts, structured essay practice, exam questions, and strategies to build confidence and independence. With this approach, students not only improve grades but develop the skills, motivation, and confidence to succeed in exams and beyond.

With a proven track record in local selective schools, including Sheffield Girls and Birkdale, as well as 11+ schools such as Heckmondwike, Crossley-Heath and North Halifax Grammar, we have the expertise to support students in achieving success. Our 11+ targeted lessons include clear goals, practice questions, assessment practice (including creative writing), exam skills, and full curriculum coverage, ensuring pupils develop the knowledge, confidence, and readiness they need, giving families reassurance and a clear path to results.
